Piscean Chaos Can Leave One Confused & Vulnerable
The Virgo Full Moon on March 5 highlights the opposition between Virgo’s critical, analytic, perfectionist desire to collect information, categorize it, analyze it, and come up with a conclusion, and the Sun in Pisces’ more chaotic primordial creative nature.
K, let me explain what I mean by that!
While the Sun is in Pisces (ruled by Neptune, the archetypal energy of creativity and spirituality on the high side, and escapism, addiction, and delusion on the low side), the Moon in Virgo sheds light on our need to integrate the diametrically opposed energies of creativity/spirituality with critical discernment within our own psyches.
Those who carry Piscean energy are generally both compassionate and empathic (and often artistic and/or psychic as well.) However, extreme sensitivity to other peoples’ emotions can cause them to become overly sensitive, which in turn results in the need to retreat from one’s own feeling nature.
Think of it this way: You’ve been working in your home or office all day and it’s time for a break from the fluorescent lighting and your lack of a window (i.e., connection to the outside world.) You could also use a bit of fresh air.
As you make your way out the door of your building, you’re suddenly blinded by the brightness of the Sun. Your hand flies up to shield your eyes because this sudden brightness is disconcerting and leaves you momentarily confused, unsure, and vulnerable.
That’s the kind of sensitivity I’m talking about! Many of those with Neptune/Pisces energy strong in their makeup experience this kind of sensation on an internal level over and over and over again.
Remember, Pisces is the sign of two fish yoked together–one attempting to swim outward toward life, the other trying to swim back to source energy (i.e., the womb.)
When we become overwhelmed by life (for whatever reason) we can attempt to retreat into the type of environment where once–long ago and far away–we didn’t have a care in the world and all of our needs were met silently and effortlessly without our even asking!
Ah yes…now you are remembering…could it be? That place where you floated helplessly but comfortably and wanted for nothing–was it your mother’s womb? Pisces energy is what can bind us to our pre-natal primordial nature.
The question is how do we choose to manifest these energies out in the world? Do we choose to play the victim & seek to return to the uroboric waters of the womb where being dependent was a natural state?
Or do we choose to dig deep into the well of our own chaos and excavate from our very soul its true artistic and creative nature?
Only you can decide…
